AKIPRESS.COM – Representatives of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic took part in the meeting of the Coordination Committee for Air Defense Affairs of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS Member States on April 17 in Dushanbe, the Ministry of Defense reports.

The Kyrgyz delegation was led by the commander of the Air Defense Forces, Talantbek Talipov.

The participants in the meeting discussed issues relating to the safe operation of the joint air defense system and military cooperation. They also considered the development of regional air defense systems, exchanged experiences in operational and combat training activities and outlined ways to improve them.
